Poetic Coastal Inspired Wedding
Carlee and Matt wanted their wedding day to feel sophisticated and classic in laid-back and unpretentious atmosphere.
Initially we were designing a black and white wedding, but in the end we couldn’t resist adding soft tones of gentle green and pale blue for the coastal vibe Carlee embodied in her day-to-day style. White sage and sea salt candles burned throughout dinner for a signature, transcending seaside scent.
Carlee and Matt’s shared love of reading and writing were inspiration for the little details that made the day uniquely their own. Guests took home custom letterpress bookmarks that doubled as name cards at their place settings and table numbers highlighted different chapters of their lives, hand written, of course, by the bride herself.
Guests flocked to the oyster bar during cocktail hour, later indulging in a spread of pastries—humbled only by the wedding cake, lovingly made by Carlee’s grandmother. A dance floor dripping in disco balls and silver fringe was the perfect touch of whimsy for the party that followed.
